The EldonCard is the only commercial slide test available. It is always ready to use. The agglutinations are stronger than in most home made slide tests, and the agglutinations will be equally strong every time. Blood banks with auto-analyzers will benefit from the EldonCard which can be used for solving discrepancies if a speedy result is needed or if the auto-analyser has been shut down.
Blood grouping at the bedside
Different types of ELDONCARD’S are sold separately and delivered in either one piece envelopes or in the EldonBags. The blood bank will also order our EldonSticks and in some cases our EldonFoils. The ELDONCARD 2521 or 2522 are the ideal cards for bedside testing.
Blood grouping of first time donors
To show their gratuity, some blood banks group the blood of first time donors upon half an ELDONCARD. The blood bank will order our ELDON BAG -25 or our ELDON BAG -50 plus EldonSticks and ELDON FOIL. Half an ELDONCARD is protected with an ELDON FOIL and given to the donor, who can keep the card among his/her credit cards. It is expected that our new ELDON ID CARD (ELDON IDENTITY CARD with space for end-user’s photo) will be found even more useful for this purpose.
