ContraGel Green a Safe Choice

ContraGel is a naturally green barrier gel for use with diaphragms and cervical caps. This water soluble gel contains no synthetic or artificial ingredients and is completely chemical free.

Available in a 60ml tube, it contains the following ingredients:

• Water
• Lactic Acid (milk acid)
• Sodium Lactate (natural salt from fermentation)
• Methylcellulose (natural thickener or gel)
• Sorbic acid (natural preservative)

ContraGel has been proven effective in clinical tests and is CE approved and now Health Canada Approved. ContraGel is compatible with natural latex rubber and silicone diaphragms or cervical caps. ContraGel is also compatible with condoms made of natural latex rubber or polyurethane.

For many women who prefer to use cervical barrier methods such as the FemCap for contraception,
it is recommended to compliment this method by using a gel.
